Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) [ Bahrain ]
Bahrain Islamic Bank was founded in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1979 to carry out banking and other financial trading activities in accordance with the teachings of Islam (Shari’ah). It was the first Islamic commercial bank in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In 2007 Artobrand was engaged in the rebranding efforts of BisB as follows:
We started by getting to know BisB intimately. We examined its market, position, vision, activity and the audience it communicates with. This in-depth research, analysis and strategy development are critical to building strong foundations for the BisB brand.
After agreeing a brand definition with BisB, we started the creative process. It translated the BisB brand position and strategy into tangible brand assets. These served as foundations for further creative development.
Artobrand translated BisB brand’s positioning into tangible values, attributes and a master concept. We then developed specific brand components. We also use this process for established brands that we manage, which helps to reinforce and communicate their positioning and image.
After designing all BisB's brand components and establishing a brand system, Artobrand then implemented BisB's brand’s communication. We did this across a range of media, channels, environments and audiences. In the process, we made sure all communication reinforces and enhances BisB brand’s positioning and appeal.
